hi gents, as far as I know, nicolas is still working on this subject. but you know, some of us, we've got problems with the original leather strap. I've just recieved a new black silicon one, bought on the german website (reference and price by PM). this ... 

The Tropic Strap is really a strap to get, for the Polaris... But if you wait 2 more days, I may post at least 4 other solutions... Best, Nicolas

The subject is interesting. The Polaris shoul be IMHO, water-bound, so I look forward to ideas on water-friendly straps as well as other strap solutions. respo

This sounds perfect to me Olivier. The JLC strap on the watch looks like an after-thought to an oversight - It does nothing to enhance the watch. I also agree, it should be water-useable, this is a dive watch after all. Looking forward to seeing your pict...

yep, same opinion nicolas, looks like the original TROPIC, but in silicon. maybe the only different point could be the thickness. this silicon is 3mm thick between the luges. maybe less than the original... cheers. O...  

On silicon strap with JLC polaris buckle ;-) ....

i appreciate it may be true to the watch and waterproof, but is it as comfortable as a nice leather strap? that for me would be the most important thing. i personally find all rubber straps uncomfortable and have had cheaper plastic tropic straps in the p... 

dear graham, this one is realy different than the original rubber tropic strap. you're right, it's less comfortable compared with a smart and sweet leather strap. but, wich leather strap have we to find for swimming or diving? however, it's just my first ...
