Lecoultre and Jaeguer Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm E 857. A pair which means a lot for me.
The Deep Sea Alarm is a vintage which I dreamed to get, one day. I thought I would only have the US version, as the european is such a rare bird to find and tough to catch.
I was lucky to be able to get both of them. The US in 2008, the European in 2009.
As you can see on the picture, the US was not in its best shape, but interestingly, it came with a set of hands which ls less commonly seen, but which is also correct, the only thing which misses is the luminous at the top of them.
Since then, I found another set of hands, for the US and also for the European.
I sent them for a long service, and traded the US for a nicer one, which was stolen to me, but I was lucky to buy my first one back...
I had to fight for this pair, to say the least, but at the end, they are still with me, and it seems that they are here to stay in the collection, as good keepers they are!

glad you can get the US version back. finding one in a condition like yours, is considered lucky. but owning 2 like you is... super lucky my friend bravo! both are definitely keeper. enjoy them in great health cheers
