My owner's feeling is pure and utterly happiness! This one ranks up there for me in terms of my all-time favorite watches I've owned, and I think it's going to surpass the AP Montoya Offshore rose gold on my list. I have no regrets at all with my Extremel... 

Why would somebody buy a RM when you can buy the Extreme Lab2 which is much better looking and with such a price difference. This watch show what JLC can do:fine watchmaking,breathtaking innovation and great value. It will be interesting to see what happe... 

But Blue and Red are my favourite colors, as per a coincidence... ;) I keep my fingers corssed to see more Extrem Lab stuff coming in the future. This is a very interesting line. Even if I deplore that some of the Lab Solutions didn't see an application, ... 

But I do think it looks better in blue than red. As you say, personal taste. I just find the blue more unique and befitting this model. My first thought was the striped bezel is also more congruent with the overall design, but reading your reaction to the... 

I think it will be limited in production. The smooth bezel is a detail which immediately jumped into my eyes, when I saw the proto. I much prefer it like this, but as said, it is a matter of personal tastes. Thanks for your input, Michael. Best, Nicolas

Awesome piece with a cool set of complications. Very technical, embodying JLC's real engineering prowess. Probably has a ton of wrist presence, yet it doesn't strike me as ostentatious or too loud. Maybe less distinctive than Richard Mille, but a great va... 

Interesting than a RM 10, in my opinion. Try it, you will see that it sits quite easily on the wrist, despite its size. Best, and thanks for your feedback, John. Nicolas

For me, I actually like the non-smooth bezel because it's a better match with the overall design of the watch IMO. Cheers, Anthony

That would be stupendous! I agree with the comparison to RM too. I wore my Lab II several times with a friend who owns the RM011 FM Singapore edition and, despite them both having a skeletonized dial and similar red/black color schemes, my JLC looks subst... 

As for an annual calendar, plans may change, but I don't see JLC, today, or next year, introducing an annual calendar on their Watch. I am impatient to see what JL has in the tube, for us, as for the Extrem Lab III. Best, Nicolas

The name " Extrem Lab " excludes, per nature, Tradition. It is all about innovation. And if you go too technical on a celestial dial, you loose the romantism of the complication. There are better lines for a Celestial, at JLC. Best, Nicolas

I was just teasing referring to the Celestial theme that is evident among the many beautiful JLC pieces currently. I do seriously wonder what complication JLC will explore in the III though... Radial power reserve, GMT are already done... I want to see so...

The article above is not quite right. There are two versions for retail by the old (red and gold) model. The color of the movement and the dial changed as well. Which precipitated a reference change. The movement is ruthenium instead of the black original... 

Look at this other picture. Taken on an Extrem Lab 2 produced in late 2012 early 2013: Now, that is true that some blackened movements existed. Best, Nicolas ...  

the model on your Picture is the 203T540 with ruthenium movement. the production change summer 2012. According JLC only a few watches were shipped with the black movement. here is a picture from the 203T570 with black movement. ...
