It's the Classic
Yes, from your photo the watch is a classic. You can tell from the "relative" length of the second hand - the Grande Taille seems shorter than that of the Classic but actually they are the same, it is the dial of the MGT that is slightly bigger. From the case number I gather it was produced in the early 90s. It is a good watch and a rare catch for you. Enjoy it.
