I used to have a similar problem...
...back in the days my challenge was which one to wear, the European or the US DSA.
Fund a perfect solution: sold both! Haha.

To be more precise, the issue is that with the original Deep Sea Alarm, you can't swim, likeother Vintage watch. And as for the Tribute, you can have some water activities, but it cannot compete ( does it have to, by the way? ) in terms of soul, as it did...

It s true that I fully enjoy my 3 DSAs, Tribute and Vintages.

They are not spotting too often, I agree.
But it can happen. It is a question of patience. Don't forget that on the circa 1000 made, it is said that maye 800 were in this US version! The truth is also that these Vintage DSA are most often kept by the collectors who own them... Too. Best, my dear ...

Yes, curved bars, but you can change them for straight ones.
I feel more confident and secure with bigger straight bars. ( You'll need 20 mm bars, by the way ). Yes, my friend, these are watches to enjoy! Best, Nicolas

No, not that tough. Just protect the lugs with some adhesive, use the right tool.
