I think the term” school watch” can carry different meanings , so it should be used carefully.
Just a few thoughts...
As I understand this watch, it is a regular production Geomatic used for practicing service work. Therefore the gold medallion back has been replaced by an unmarked plain steel case back. And it has the name of the school printed on the dial. So it’s interesting in a historical context and for us who are fans of this reference.
An other - and perhaps more interesting - School Watch, is the type that has been constructed from the buttom up by students. Some of these have amazing finish work and chronometric performance.

Thank you for sharing. I am wondering if the dial has been modified due to the missing minute prack. I have come across this issue on regular Geomatics where the dial was refinished??? are the hands original? best, my friend Christian

Im thinking since they where school watches...
and probably have been taken apart many times, that it would not be surprising if they are incomplete/not 100% original.
All the schoolwatches are very special, but this one is more special.
This auction house has not the best reputation, so you need more papers to know that it is true one.
