I am looking to add an Amvox to the rotation, but can't decide between the original version and the DBS titanium. I like them both that is the problem. The DBS version first caught my attention with the open dial. It is very different than everything I ow... 

.....i went this way: I chose the original rather than the titanium edition. OK, its not the same watch as you are looking at, but a similar dilemma. I went this way because the Amvox 1 was THE original version. I liked the originality..... ...  

I have had a long and complicated relationship with this watch. LOL. I owned the DBS version first. I was simply mad for the open dial. Somehow, I was less in love with it after I got the DBS. Truthfully, for me, the chrono sub dials are difficult to read...  

I appreciate the comments regarding legibility, particularly on the DBS version. My sense is the DBS makes a stronger first impression, but may be harder to live with based on comments similar to yours. I still like the look, though.

It was the first one, the original one, with an inspired and inspiring design. I also owned the Racing Paris Boutique, which is a racing DBS, in sum, and got rid of it. While I still own my Amvox II platinum, bought almost 8 years ago! I still wear it, to... 

I also appreciate your thoughts on the Racing and Original versions. At this point, I am leaning towards the Original version, but still like the look of DBS version. Any idea how many years the original Amvox 2 was produced? Was it only the original vers... 

1/ How many years the original Amvox II was produced? I guess that for a total of 1450 watches, they needed let's say two to three years. Don't forget that the release of the black concept needed a bit more time. The first Black Concept were delivered in ...
