I'm not ready yet to post my report but...

Hi Hatari, Velociphile,

I'm sorry as I'm getting back from SIHH and I'm just overloaded by my "real" job after days of absence.

I hope to post more late today.

Regarding the seconds indicator, it is not intended to be a small seconds. In fact this is a tool and the seconds are the most alive indication of the watch running. Yes that's the reason. When you're diving 30 or 50 meters underwater you may want to be sure that your watch works.

The blue color was chosen because that's the last color that is visible at the higher depths. When you don't see the blue anymore, you see nothing.

The seconds indicator just tries to show that the movement is running, in the most visible way.

I hope it helps.

No gimmicks, just a tool!  smile

We've all been sat on the edge of our seats for so long now waiting for a worthy JLC diver, it's hard to believe it's really here. Let's get one thing out of the way first. JLC, can you please brighten up the names a little, let's just keep the past names...

I wish they hadn't used that blue bar above the 6

Why not just a sweep seconds hand? From what I can see it would work just fine. JLC seems to be doing this with their new sport watches - rotating discs or similar for the seconds counter. I've been waiting for a new diver that is purpose built, this come...

I don't know, man...

The Geo one is interesting, but how many pro divers are gonna buy a JLC luxury watch? And conversely how many Rolex owners dive into anything deeper than a swimming pool? That huge lever for the depth gauge will definitely put a lot of guys off who would ...

I know people who DO dive with expensive (relatively) watches

I do know people who dive with the IWC aquatimer (price wise probably not that close, but just illustrating the point), one was a good friend of mine who roughed it up (without really trying) so much that IWC gave him a replacement watch (so much for the ...
