I don't know if it's the solution but...

Hi,

There's a sliding device on the 8 days JLC movements that prevents overwinding.

You may try to wind it fully from 4 hours till 8 hours power reserve counting the crown turns and then keep winding at least as many turns again.

Your power reserve indicator may not be well settled so the watch would have only 4 hours of power reserve when the indicator says 8?

I'm not sure though.

You may also show it to your AD.

Let us know (and do it carefully of course  smile ).

Cheers

Dje

My Grande Date has no more issue as the power reserve still has 3 days while everything is running normally. I will let run until the last day, then, try a few more of full winds and see any problem incurs again... Thanks for all the advice for my JLC...

Another problem...

During the 2nd full wind, my RGD stops again at Day 4. This time, the watch is still not working after another full wind. Then, it only starts running again when I pull out the crown to adjust the time. Any comment? Again, thanks.

It needs a repair
