I did try on the chrono
with a titanium bracelet, but not with a rubber strap. I agree with you that the rubber straps provide a nice contrast to the titanium and look better than the bracelets for these particluar models. I did enjoy wearing the chrono, but I fell in love with the simplicity of the GMT dial. Although I have relatively modest means, price was not an issue. If the chrono bedazzled me, I would have purchased the chrono. I will say that I went back to my local AD, who has provided excellent service, advice and expertise over the past few years.
