I agree with you concerning alarm
I love the Amvox I because I’m a fan of Polaris lineup. My grandfather offered me his Polaris and I have a TT Polaris 68. Also hunting a TT 65... The Amvox I makes my waiting for the TT Polaris 65 steel softer ;-)
I also love AM and the memovox because I’ve always been fascinated by mechanicals alarms.
At the end I love the chronographs (Duometre, Jaeger chrono compax Dayto...) and this one is so special. That’s why the Amvox II is great for me.

What I dislike on Amvox II is the size of the case and the pieces of metal on the left and right side because they don’t looks like the lugs (they don't look the same except on the platinum version).

I came close many times to getting this AMVOX for myself. The name "AMVOX" is truly most accurate and fitting for this first model. It never quite made sense to me for the subsequent non-alarm models in the AMVOX lineup. But in any case, this first AMVOX ...
