Go with your heart
It is so easy to overthink these things. In the end, they are both amazing pieces, and you cannot go wrong either way.
That said, I think the GMT, especially on a bracelet, is just a little easier to wear in more situations, as the chrono seems a litle more like a tool watch, but that is just my opinion. I also find the GMT a more useful function than the chrono if you travel. Again, just my opinion. Look forward to seeing what you choose.

Diver GMT / Chrono
Good evening everyone, I have finally decided to get a sports watch, having to leave my PP and vintage circa 1972 Omega behind (Omega's seal is gone, no replacement available). The Diver is the one, but I cannot make my mind up between the 2 complications...

The rubber strap is, at least for me, the best for this watch is your wrist is not that big. As you will be able to esiar set the size of the strap. I tried the 2 others, Let us know what you finally decided! Best. nicolas
Decision
Well Chrono it is, although I find the GMT has a much more balanced and elegant layout, with the simple caoutchouc bracelet, my wrist not being big. Will post photos this month I hope, looking forward to it!
