Correction of a small detail, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox E 871
After many year's of ownership I finally had the chance to correct a small detail...
Last weekend I brought my Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox reference E 871 with my on my trip, just to be ale to complete my watch!
My watch used to look like this:
When I bought the watch many year's ago I was aware of the problem, but thought it would be OK...
But when I started to wear the watch I realized, no, not OK...
You see the seconds hand? The hand should match the minute track.
I am not sure if JLC really did deliver all E 871 with matching seconds hands, but I have seen enough to know that at least many of them did have the blue hand!
Even if the shape and length of my first seconds hand was correct....
So for year's this little detail bugged me, but now I have finally been able to correct that!
Now I hope I may enjoy this one without feeling the itch...
Big thank you to the watchmaker that stepped in, released me from my pain while I am still waiting to seeing my regular watchmaker!
