Ceramic bearings
I understand that the use of Ceramic ball bearing in the new watch movements such as the autotractor movement greatly extend the service interval from about 5 years to 10 years. Is it possible that in the future, Jaeger-LeCoultre will be able to replace the metal bearing in my Master Compressor Geographic with cereamic during a future overhaul to extend its service interval?
