Breaking news. JLC App to correctly set your moonphase.

Jan 21, 2015,07:06 AM

I recently told you that JLC was on to solve the problem of the moonphase setting, which is always te same:

When you don't wear your Watch for a while, and that the movement stoppped, then, you hve to set your moon to the correct phase.

A bit fastidious, as you have to find a site which will show you the correct moonphase, then you have to calculate and set it.

Now, JLC, which this year paid an astral hommage to their watches, just released that app. I tried it at the SIHH, it is just super.

Note that all the bugs were not fixed, but I was told that it was imminent.

Here is the link I just received.

.. additional nice thing is, that on the first page you get a pic of the model with the correct time and a moving second. Actually quite nice, great pics of the model-lines/ watch types; pretty and maybe practical little helper. Easy user interface.. Only...

I've seen it on a phone, last Monday. JLC told me that they were still working on it.

... moonphase setting help on their site. Having tried the JLC app yesterday I must say, that I will rather stick to the Patek site. Christian
