As stated elsewhere...
the movement is awesome: it incorporates a slip-spring so that over-winding is impossible; large date - which was created by JLC in 1992 but reserved for A. Lange & Sohne for 10 years; gorgeous movement with Cotes Soleis (sp?) ~ "waves of the sun" or "sun rays" finish; 9.25 days of running power (although stated "8-Days" for conservative accuracy reasons.
The Panerai also uses it, proving, to me, its robustness. All-in-all, I think it's a great watch, especially in the 18kt rose.

New to watches and this forum, so I hope I am not violating any forum rules with this post. I would appreciate any feedback about this watch as I am torn between it and the Hometime. There has been a lot of info in reviews about the new technology caliber...
