Jaeger-LeCoultre

As far as I know it's the same with all JLC alarm calibres:

some time after the alarm has rung (lets say approximately half an hour)
the alarm hammer gets locked. From then on to the next alarm time there
is no jingling sound when you move your wrist. So you do not have to pull
the crown or wind the alarm barrel. Not winding the alarm also means that
it won't go off at the next alarm time of course.
Silencing the alarm is not only possible by pulling the crown, but by
pressing the watch firmly to your wrist - you will mearly be able to hear
a sound then.
This should work with all vintage and 918 calibres, but I do not know for
the new Extreme World Alarm.
