Friends, Last week was a really busy week for me... Not only the GTG in Paris but also a small GTG here in Stockholm! Always fun to meet a fellow collector in person and when he is accompanied by a beauty like this...! The LeCoultre Shark E 2643! Nice pat...  

Interestingly, originally it came with 3 possible bezel-inserts: Tachymeter, Diving type (10,20,30 etc) and the WT, which IMO, is the most attractive one. Another little tidbit of info is, that the Shark shares the same case with Breguet Type XXs, for a c... 

Same case on the Lemania Viggen Chrono as well. You should share a dual shot with your Shark / Type XX! Best Blomman

It just hit me! When you go to GTGs you don't bring your rocks!

But French custom are very suspicious if I would bring stones with me... Best Blomman

I find the naming of the cities on the bezel quite interesting, Stockholm and Geneva together with Rome and Paris, I had never seen this before. Furthermore, it seems that Singapore and Hong Kong show a different time while Jakarta and Singapore show the ...

...as today and at least since I have been living in this part of the world, upside-down, Singapore and Hong Kong share the same time while Jakarta is 1 hour behind. The city dial on the watch shows differently. There must have been a time when the time z... 

Singapore used to be GMT +7.5h, and Hong Kong +8. However, Singapore moved half an hour ahead to it's current GMT+8 back in 1982, and became synchronized with HK. And back to the watch... THAT is an awesome Shark indeed! ;-)
