Took me some time, but in the meantime I had a bunch of examples to look at on Purist. Thanks to all the Jaeger collectors that posted all their watches back in the day (particularly Nicolas, Clavi, Blomman and everyone that added primary source material ...  

Wish they made ads like that again. Now it seems the zeitgeist of advertisement is different. Just a celebrity, a watch and some nice videos…boom done! This old ad is vastly more entertaining.

The rooster is a living clock. Wind the rooster by throwing seeds on the floor. When the rooster get old, eggs will be the solution for new roosters and chicken. I stop eat rooster. Why? I don’t want eat a clock 😎
