Jaeger-LeCoultre

An Open Letter Jerome Lambert

When I began to read about the "Grande Maison" I very quickly found myself aligned with your company ethos, facinated by the history, enjoyed the favorable commentary/feedback and vey much approved of the tastefullness found in your design(s), execution, charitable work and marketing. And it may a shallow perspective, there is something (even if very small) to be said about the people that associate themselves with a brand and I have found in my short time here that JLC would be proud of the forum members here.

Although the technical merits stand above many other brands, it is the lack of pretense that put JLC in the top spot in my watchbox. I read that you said (paraphrasing) it's okay that you do not own a JLC, you are still very welcome to come vist.....JLC's acessibility and credibility are genuine and well earned, both of which are remarkable in this time of hyperbole and over the top advertising.

I was (and still am) drawn to the Master Control, the Squadra and the Navy Seals Diving watches. Such diversity threaded together by pushing the limits of innovation, craftsmenship, usefullness and wearability. I was made an offer to purchase a Navy Seals Diving Automatic and along with marrying my wife and going back to school to finish my degree, is one of the best decisions I have made in my adult life.  While I did not directly contribute to your bottom line, I hope you will appreciate that 1) you have a new evangelist for your manufacture and 2) it will most certainly will not be my last JLC!

SIncerely - Michael

Please allow me to share some pictures of my "new" JLC:

P.S. if you happen to have a Navy Seals box/ user manual set laying around.......smile
