Nice to see a context shot like this. The red crescent date marker used to bother me but on the wrist the sum of the parts are wonderful. And it’s such a useful AND traditional complication.
I wish they were manual wind (not really a big deal) so it could be essentially free from Rolex legacy (not that there’s anything wrong with Rolex !)

I'm rather struck by the pointer date & that both the day & month are in red - for me it links it back to earlier tripple date watches from JLC. Cheers JML
