Hi Kev! Edmond Jaeger was a specialist in producing speedometers, tachymeters and fuel gauges. Collaborating with Jacques-David Le Coultre, he started supplying the English and French pilots in world war one. Apparently, the gauges were so accurate that the Germans would salvage them from planes that were shot down to be reinstalled in their planes!! Soon after the war in the 1920s, the company started supplying gauges to the car industry. I believe Aston Martin was one of the first companies to adopt Jaeger gauges. I had a DB7 years ago that has Jaeger gauges but I doubt if the current cars use them as gauges are now so advanced.
