Friends,
- after the weekend, it is always my little rationalizing, of which pieces
to take for the week to come.
Hereby I remembered, that there are one or two pieces, with lots of
JLC DNA, which didn't get too much wrist-time lately.
It is my pair of early round Masters Refs, The Master format applied in two
very nice designs:
- one represents the great tradition of JLC in the Triple Calendars,
- the other one, embodying a set of user friendly complications & indications:
date, PR, moon-phase , nuit & jour and the indication of world cities.
The latter piece an easy guess - the Master Geographic, a watch , we haven't been talking about lateley; a watch, that was instrumental for my own JLC journey.
Thus, please welcome with me, the Master Moon (TD), and the Master Geographic:
A friendly face, Master Moon (2004); classical face, & calendar windows
- here the date is represented by the red arrow/basket
On a blue backdrop with a blue strap,
the nice moon indication is really charming, IMHO.
The backside, not the most beautiful finish, for looking through
but a nice rotor automatic movement..
Here now the second choice of my week:
JLC Master Geographic - another once classic Reference,
actually my first round JLC & my second JLC-watch in toto..
A set of friendly complications & indications,
with blued hands & little red accents :
TD-calendar, PR, moon-phase & the "wheel of cities", the second time zone;
Well, actually an amalgamation of a second time-zone, on the dial @6,
with the day/ night indicator window, plus the WT aspect by turning the
world-cities wheel with the crown @ 10
Finally a friendly, solid backside:
The solid medaillon, with the golden symbol for the
1000 hrs control & the JL logo in a nicely finished field..
Hope, you liked this little look back, a bit more than
10 years, on to these classical choices for this my week to be..
I know, I will enjoy them, again - for sure..
Best, hs
