This is the unlimited version of the Chrono and the one which looks pretty similar to the DeepSea Alarm is limited and only available in the JLC boutiques (received the info from the German forum watchlounge).

Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph – please tell me this is wrong!

I just saw a live pic from SIHH of the DSVC… It doesn’t look a bit as the one communicated earlier. Please tell me this is NOT the DSVC! If so – I will probably NOT get my first chronograph this year… Or at least, it won’t be a JLC... Best Blomman...

Thank you very much for the info. Got really worried there for a while! Well, my order of two – just went down to only one! From the first look this watch has nothing to do with the one earlier shown by Nicolas! The motion indicator under the logo feels r...
OMG what have they done !

Funny, I like it better than the two sub-dial version! The two sub-dial looks contrived to me... not coherent, as Nicolas would say. But I've obviously only seen renderings and photos. This three sub-dial looks more sporty to me, I don't mind the little r...
More sporty?

I am happy for you if this model is better for you, Mostel! But for me, this looks more like a development of the Compressor Chrono than the Deep Sea. Or in vintage terms – the Shark or the 4 ATM than the Deep Sea, IMO. Best Blomman
I think you need to see it in the flesh.

I had the opportunity to hold this one the other day and while my first choice is set on the DSVC (which is nit the same watch), this version definitely has something to say for itself. It looks a lot like the "Shark" that dates back to the end of the 50'...
this one looks odd to me...

... if i have choice of these two, i would go for the normal one as shown by Nico's post earlier. stefan
