was this....a watch owned by my father from the 1960s onwards And then this....a gift from my wife in the 1990s .......and that led to one or two others.... and now....it is official...I am totally out of control on JLC. But what a disease to have!...

It is weird how the manufacture of the very first watch in one's collection can so often not become a central theme to a collection.... but always seems to have a good representation. JLC is now a good representation for me!

But I can understand that, when i see those which landed in your stable. A dressy, a complication, and a Reverso Chrono which is one of the most beautiful and sophisticated. Bravo, Baron, for your undisuptable good taste, and for sharing it with us all! B...

Well.....i would guess he is a major suspect.....but then I do remember a certain Zenith of yours too being kept rather sneaky????

is stunning, and that pic oozes mood and romance. Fantastic watch and story. My dad left behind a gold 'tone' Seiko quartz on a stretch band, which he wore with the dial under his wrist. How I got here I'll never know. :)

I wish my father had a watch to pass on to me... But unfortunately he's totally not a watch person... He told me he'd rather look at the time from his iPhone.. Anyways, great collection of JLC watches Baron Cheers Sam
