Jaeger Lecoultre Duomètre à Chronographe, White Gold / Black Dial. 7th Anniversary!

 By: amanico : December 26th, 2023-08:12
Yes, this one landed on my wrist 7 years ago, exactly. I will not write the tumultuous story again, as you all know how important is this watch for me. To make it short, I ordered it when I was back from the SIHH, in 2007, and got it in platinum, first, w...

a 'timely' post Nico

and like you I'm very much looking forward to what comes next!

Telepathy. ;)

JLC chaude comme la braise.

 By: hora12reborn : December 26th, 2023-10:11

Chaud patate! ;)

 By: amanico : December 26th, 2023-10:12

Majestic!

It is exciting to find out how the duometre is to evolve, and certainly hope they do not tread too far off from this icon's spirit.

What a beautiful watch!

 By: Timeout : December 26th, 2023-11:28
The Duometre is such an interesting watch - with an impressively finished movement. I would not be at all surprised to see a significant price increase on this line - which I consider a “loss leader” in terms of price compared to complications and finishi...

That watch is fire! 🔥

 By: Aquaracer1 : December 26th, 2023-13:28

And on fire. :))))

 By: amanico : December 26th, 2023-18:05

The Duometre is certainly one the most fascinating modern chronographs.

 By: jlux : December 26th, 2023-13:34
Yes,could be a bit smaller in diameter and height. But then again, I find it pretty perfect the way it is : a watch with a lot of character !! And I am afraid that a revised Duometre would come at an insane price level.....

One of the top chrono

Love the unique approach, the dial, the central seconds for time, the fudroyant. The size/thickness is the only regret. Platinum and your wg are the two best looking 👌

What I think too.

 By: amanico : December 26th, 2023-18:09
My ex platinum.... ...

Super!

I'm looking forward to catching up in the future

Yep!

 By: amanico : December 27th, 2023-15:25

Duomètre version King Cool, for sure!

 By: RayStantzPhD : December 26th, 2023-22:08
Slimmer would be great for the future, and I'd like to see the balance wheel from the Geophysic again Ah and 39-40 mm if the wish list is still open of course! Cheers, Alex

Gorgeous watch..

 By: JustaGuy : December 27th, 2023-04:48
Speaks volumes that someone with your collection and the access you have to watches has developed such a love for this piece! Stunning photos

Happy 7th Anniversary, Nicolas.

 By: Goh : December 27th, 2023-07:40
Sorry to hear about your loss. I've never seen the special dial PT Duometre Chronograph, but the regular version in PT is already quite stunning. Your WG version has more "cool factor" as you've said, ...but these look too big on my wrist. 40/41 mm would ...

Pleasure, my friend.

 By: amanico : December 27th, 2023-11:03

One of the loveliest things from the manufacture in the last decade IMHO

 By: KMII : December 27th, 2023-09:41
And with this dial - an absolute masterpiece 👌🏻

When will I find this version for sale?

 By: Darron : January 7th, 2024-23:42
😂😂😂

From me? No chances. ;)

 By: amanico : January 8th, 2024-07:08

Haha… that’s fair. I don’t want to deprive

 By: Darron : January 8th, 2024-08:52
you of one of your favorites. I would only want it from someone who was ready to let it go; in hopes of an appreciative home.

Yeah my appreciation and means to acquire

 By: Darron : January 8th, 2024-17:15
we’re probably only 1-2 years late 😂; considering the first one I saw in the metal was yours 🙏

Yes I think so. 🙏

 By: Darron : January 11th, 2024-07:16

🙏

 By: Darron : January 12th, 2024-05:44

I believe there is one currently for sale in France, on Chrono,

 By: MDT : April 2nd, 2024-05:28
that is if it is same reference…

Exactly the same one?

 By: amanico : April 2nd, 2024-07:37

600.3.24.5

 By: amanico : April 2nd, 2024-10:07

Is it not reference: 600.3.28.S ?

 By: MDT : April 3rd, 2024-08:54
It is most confusing. Looks like 6013470 or 600.3.28.S ? Are they the same. Sorry - I love the watch of yours.

Yes, really confusing.

 By: amanico : April 3rd, 2024-09:21

Merci !

 By: MDT : April 3rd, 2024-20:44

De rien.

 By: amanico : April 3rd, 2024-21:02

That one in France has been on chrono for a couple

 By: Darron : April 4th, 2024-14:52
years now… the seller never responded to me so I gave up. Probably sold elsewhere?

Late to the club…

 By: MTR : January 12th, 2024-07:24
This watch has so much character. And for me the dial is synonymous with perfection. The fact that you put this watch above your MR says it all. I like this WG version more than the Platinum-white-dial-version. With this watch you can see what JLC is ca...

Stellar watch! Top of the line movement and looks. How does it wear?

 By: SCane : March 31st, 2024-22:03
As I see it is 42 mm and almost 14 mm high. Is it comfortable as a watch for a casual wear? Or is it more for special occasions?
