That geophysic, what a marvel! And the worldtime is tempting, but yiu have to choose between knowing the time elsewhere and getting up at the right time. Even the 2009 model is pretty nice! Thanks for sharing! Best, E.

Yes, all the dial jas been refinished at some stage (likely long time ago)
It's quite likely an old refinish, so it might be possible that the watch itself was actually born as a worldtime, got damaged, then refinished by someone trying to recreate the damaged dial on the spot, but obviously didn't do a good enough job. I can't ...
