we have already had this discussion…
And I even had it with a pretty Catherine ...
A black dial is clearly what this UTT lacks
First of all, the same dial as on the other Duometre with a black dial (chrono and ql) in a limited series of 200 made it possible to bring together a trilogy ...
It's easy to make and inexpensive ... which should appeal to JLC as they are particularly stingy ...
In addition, it would bring out the earth ... an earth style seen from the sky with Thomas Pasquet as the muse ...
maybe I would make a slightly smaller earth for the sake of balancing the dial ... and showing its fragility, the fact that it is not much compared to the vastness of the universe ...
Finally, concerning a new dial ... other than the one identical to the first version ... a deep black enamel… , matt not shiny… or a new composite black dial with golden inclusions to keep this watch in the modernity that it embodied.
What I would be doing ESPECIALLY on the Duometre if I were JLC ... solid screws! and a service commensurate with their creative talent… ;-)
It's a shame and with a certain bitterness that I say it… whereas I found this model fantastic until recently… I will stay away from the Duometres, no matter what they launch as a new model. JLC s is totally discredited in my eyes.
