As you might remember I have regretted selling my 3750 (1st generation with a 39mm case in WG, white dial, and the "simple chronograph function) for about almost two decades. A few years later I made up my mind to correct my mistake. And it took me 16 yea... 

I have to say that this 3754 with its beautiful blue dial is in the flesh much nicer than on the pics that can be seen on the Internet. I almost fell from my seat when I removed the hundreds of protective covers from the watch almost 1 year ago. Then I RE... 

Yes, this dial was made in blue, when almost nobody was searching for a blue a dial and it was for sure not a trend like today. Best Thomas ...  

Yessss, INCLUDING the LUGS‼️‼️‼️ 🙏😊 P.S.: Due to this movable lugs the watch sits better on the wrist than most of the watches I know.

I have to say, I have had really good teachers and role models here over a long period of time. In the meantime I have developed my very own taste, which often does not go hand in hand with the watches that many investment oriented collectors chase after.... 

Most of us entered this passion due to strong emotional connections with mechanical horology. A highly-collectible watch that leaves me cold has no room in my wrist. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Hussam

It's really individual and unique. Whether it is a Harbring2 with a very special dial or a Longines with a creamy dial or a beautiful Anordain, a nice AP RO, a limited Kudoke 2 or a Rolex Batman. You often (and like me not always) walk off the beaten path...

Having the perfect watch, most of us are so careful, our grail become a safe queen. You just wear your favorite watch. Seeing your D’avinci i compare it to a Cartier Pasha. Very different, but i think the lugs do it.

I have to admit, not a single one of my watches is a safe Queen. Watches are built to be used (from a MR to a PC to a Tourbillon). For me there is nothing more sad than a beautiful watch that has been built with a lot of passion and that, wrapped in plast... 

Haven't logged in for awhile and it was a joy to see such lovely photos of an uncommon piece. The design stands out on its own for sure. And with the complications, It's a complete piece Thomas.

And what I like so much is that you really get a lot of watch for your money. And a piece that is really steeped in history, has changed the world of watches so that you carry history on your wrist. For me, collecting watches is not a question of investme...
