I had to opportunity to see this piece and it is a beauty.
A monopusher chrono on a Big Pilot, manual wind, vintage inspired dial numerals, beautiful blue dial, great lume . . . Ticked a lot of boxes for me.
The addition of the monopusher chrono mechanism on the manual wind movement adds depth to to the view through the sapphire back.
You have to see and hold one to fully appreciate how special this one is.

Be aware! Here we have a new watch that is already an icon. Sure, the Big Pilot is an icon, but look at the crown! The mono pusher is an UFO! The IWC UFO. I am curious if i am the first, this i relate to the phrase of hashtag Speedythusday, which became f...
I like this watch, but….
By: bchankai : November 26th, 2021-05:10
With this release and the 43mm big pilot, IWC seems to have decided that antimagnetism is no longer a necessity in a pilot’s watch. I guess the Rolex GMT has never been amagnetic and nonetheless managed to earn its place on pilots’ wrists, but unlike Role...
