I own both for quite a while.

My first ‘nice’ watch was a MkXII from Austin Kaye, The Strand, London (late 90s?), I wish though that it didn’t have the date, it would have made more sense as a pilots watch to me.

Thank you MrkK for that info, first time I have heard of that one. I had a quick look online, I don’t like the yellow seconds hand, yeah, I’m picky!
