Ah, the Jaeger-LeCoultre 889. Used in IWC's Mark XII, too, of course. Said to be 'service heavy'? Is that so, I wonder? Whatever, the 3531 is lovely. I remember foolishly not buying one from a shop on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.

The 3532 never tempted me due to the date window. That said, the purple dial is one that I would love to have in my watch box.
