...to see what kind of 'patina' the wood takes on with time? Will it absorb oils from the skin? Will it be rubbed to a polish where it comes into contact with the fingers? Will the fingertip and thumbtip wear the wood down into little 'dents'?

I've been writing with #18 for the past week or so. I've never owned a nice pen before, and have certainly not one carved out of wood. Great to support the AHCI in this way. Darren
