What I think the message is...
Is not that Patek or any other brand are not good,but to each his own,there are gems in every brand and I find myself loving both big brands and independent and I give each and every one of them a different importance and personal relevance.
The trouble is that with some brands,the label on the dial is the main reason to like a product,weather one really likes it or not(thats the secret behind a 60k 70k lemania movement
),so the conclusion is:IF you really like what you buy and tell me why I will accept your unconditionate love,to each his own,but many would buy a specific brand ONLY because of the brand name....well that is what I do not agree,and I suppose ,many here.

After speaking to Mr Zanetta I have to tell you how much he cherishes his (short)heritage....explaining to me the reason why DB released a salmon DB27,he had to take Denis Flageollets watch off his wrists,a salmon solid gold dialled monopusher he had made...
