Hi Bounce781, I'm glad you found this helpful - happy to relay more if you have questions. I have never seen the Moondust DNA in person, but I have tried on the Liberty (probably my second favorite behind my Titanic). It's smaller than the Titanic (46mm vs 50mm) but the contract between the patina'd dial and clean copper crystal cage is quite striking.
For all those I've tried on, I didn't care for any of the OEM straps, which are uncomfortable and feel like a bit of an afterthought, especially for such expensive pieces. Word to any potential buyer - a strap change requires some investment. These cases use screwbars and require 2x micro hex head tools to remove.
For some, these are difficult pieces to justify for the asking price, but it's possible to find them on sale. I really liked the Liberty on the wrist, but AD would not come down from an astronomic $16K US. Then again, I think RJ only made 125 pieces.

The titanic and the moon editions are quite compelling in my mine whereas the others are not really my style. It is definitely a unique piece.

Welcome!

Yes, the are supposed to represent the locking mechanism of bulkhead/water doors on the ship. Decoration only, as they do not function on the watch
