For my eyes Ressence has made the most important new product announcement at the SIHH this year with it's eCrown Type 2. Here we are seeing the next steps in marrying mechanical watches with the presicion possible with quartz timekeepers, so called "agmen...  

I cant wait to see it in person soon . Not sure if i like the e component in a watch but it sure is a nice innovation .

But hasn't Seiko solved this problem already with the Spring Drive mechanical movement? The only real addition here is the synchronization of time between your cellphone and your watch using bluetooth. S

Thank you for the report. The photographs are excellent. It would be a watch I could definitely consider for daily use, especially the cushion-shaped case model. However, when I visited their website and saw the pricing point... well... beyond my level of...
