I was thinking V38 with purple fired hands/numerals on slate grey or ice blue pattern A dial.
Partly because it was more compact, which I like in this style of watch/case, and also because of the many interior angles, which would've been a first for me! I don't know if he could accommodate purple hands, but I thought I'd ask...and then I didn't. S...
