I noticed from press pictures back then, that the hacking lever ist quite a massive arrangement
I do not mean the part that sits on top of the balance wheel on your superb picture. I mean massive, flat bar that is attached to it.

I cannot recall any other stop mechanism that is shown to its full glory. That detail alone is a reason to get one ... a shame that there are more reasons speaking against getting one: not in my reach 😅😅
The Mercedes has got far too much character to sell it 😀
