It is of endless fascination to me watching a promising, definitely talented young watchmaker to bring his or her idea to maturation, and then transform it into an amazing piece of metal. This year was another such opportunity, when the AHCI (Académie Hor...  

And the introduction of a new watchmaker (at least to me). The reverse time measurement is probably easy to get used to after a while and definitely one party piece. The exquisite finishing another. And I especially like the design of the hands.

Always excited to learn more about new candidates for the AHCI. What strikes me about Kim\'s watch is a sense of "playfulness" when it comes to the design. The use of depth, the engraving, off-center seconds, very fine ratchet wheel teeth finishing, etc. ...
