I think the design will age well too. The watch itself is another story. The lume that makes up the indices is etched into the crystal. The crystal is generally meant to be a consumable part (not at a high rate, but consumable nevertheless). Ming needs to have replacements available if this watch is to last a lifetime. But there is a certain freedom to forgetting about the future and enjoying the present
