Pita - Barcelona
I was recently in Barcelona for the first time, and decided to visit Pita. I simply found where they were, and went to their shop - with no appointment. I was greeted by a young apprentice watchmaker, and Mr. Pita himself. He took a lot of time to show me the collection and educate me about how he creates his unique watches. He refers to the movements as "half eta, and half Pita" - which I enjoyed. A rather brilliant self-taught man who decided to create something very innovative and different and did just that.

Single hand watch. Five-spoke rotor mounted dial side. Movement - created mostly in-house - and hand are mounted in their own 'cage' and complete a full rotation every 12 hours using Pita's patented mechanism. And yes - those are ball bearings you can see...

Very interesting one hand. Cool and unusual design and well thought out way to set the time. The central part of the dial makes me think to a car rim
