For me, the 1hz is one of the most beautiful watches of the last years. Fx
It has a very unassuming look
and probably appeals to those placing more emphasis on movement over aesthetics although at the end of the day, it still must appeal enough to the buyers' eye.
The back of that Gronefeld is very nice...
reminded me of a printed circuit board when I saw the chiaroscurro photo treatment of the movement. very nice. thanks for sharing!

I think quite a few were caught by the novelty (not in a fluffy manner) of the movement. And to be frank, I really think it is a very interesting movement.
