Hi Guys,
I've just bought a Moser Mayu and thought I'd give you my thoughts.
It's the white gold version with white lacquered dial. So it's their most basic model.
I had been interested in the make for a while and was very impressed when i first saw the watches in the metal after a London dealer had been appointed.
I have to say that I'm very pleased and impressed with the whole package. The watch is very well engineered and made, incorporates some nice innovations and technology, is a perfect fit on my small wrist and seems to me (especially in this metal/dial combination) to be a nice balance between classic and contemporary. It is also quite unique in it's case design but in a way which I think transcends fashion. The details are good too - the buckle is really nice (although I've ordered a folding buckle).
The box and packaging is very well done - tasteful and high quality without being 'over the top' as some are nowadays.
It is incredible value in my opinion - it strikes me as being a lot of watch for the money, even though mine is the entry level model. It's a serious watch at what is a 'bargain' price relative to other makes.
As you can probably tell - I'm very happy and very enthusiastic! I'm sure and hope it won't be the last Moser I buy - I can't wait to see a Perpetual.
I also have to thank Moser's London dealer for their professionalism, enthusiasm and help.
Vernon
