I would like to add some comments

 

First of all, about the DB15. Even it we are not speaking about applied figures, the method used by DB is very complex. They apply several layers of paint and you can feel that the figures are not "mere" figures. The result is visually impressive.



About the saphire hands of the DB26, I really love them and I don't have the same feeling than you: they don't look cheap, they look great if not gorgeous !



Last point is the price. I'm not able to measure the difference of innovation between the JLC and the DB. Why this difference would be 20%, why not 300% ? It is impossible to tell a percentage.

The difference of price is due to the fact that you have an excellent watch coming from a large brand in one hand and an exclusive watch coming from an independant company which produces aroud 200/300 watches a year in the other hand. It is not the same result and not the same way of thinking.

One great quality of De Bethune, about compromises, is that Denis Flagollet and David Zanetta make no compromise about the horlogical choices in their timepieces. And the result, is impressive. Malik.

we were lucky enough to have most of the range available to us in London for the GTG and your quite right, no pics can do them justice. i like the digitale and the DBS. perhaps even the DB24, but its a lot of money for a sports watch. on the other hand yo... 

At my taste, the DB24, is the more interesting, the esthetic is totally new in horlogical,

and the mechanic, keep the "basis" caliber of De Bethune, with a real interesting and functionnal complications... The DB15 grey dial QP, is marvelous pieces, but not so original. And i hope, that at this level of price and passion, you forgive matter of ...

De Bethune is one of the most interesting brands in the industry. My fav models are the DB 15 and the DB 25 (both versions). Thanks a lot for the pics and for the report. Fr.Xavier

Thank you for the report! It really is of the most interesting brands in the watch industry. I have not seen DB15 in this version before, and it makes such a truly beautiful combination! It really is to die for... DB Digitale to me looks also a bit boring...
