but the young watchmakers have alot of choice. Andersen is now has two watchmakers working for him, if I understand correctly. But there are so many other places to work. Shops that are pretty famous as places to learn alot include Parmigiani and Halter.
Here in Europe, at least, you can not just set up a shop and claim you are a master watchmaker. After professional school there is the journyman time of several years and then back to school again to get a master. That includes more professional work, a masterpiece, and learning about business practices.
