I think Hodinkee did a very nice job with their special edition Hermès watch. I am impressed with Hermès momentum and loved the Arceau de la Lune watch at SIHH.

It look identical in every way to the Hermes Slim with blue dial that has been in production for years, other than the subdial being grey (instead of blue). Is that the only change to the entire watch? To make the subdial grey that was once blue?

I don’t think much was changed. That being said, the dial is smoked around the edges. It’s the crystal actual. Quite novel. [nt]

Hi Ed, I think this and the GMT are both lovely creations by Hermes - the sizes are perfect and the dial layout & finish looks superb and well balanced. The Philippe Apeloig typography

The changes are small but very significant. The two tone dial, smoked crystal and grey seconds dial really separates and elevates the watch from the regular blue one. The unique typography is one of the best!
