In terms of value for money would rather get a custom made piece from Torsti Laine and have some change left to buy a few Longines retro re-editions.

 By: mahesh : April 4th, 2020-02:46
a new offer from the Japanese indie watch maker.... NH Type 2A - manually wound center seconds in 37 mm stainless steel case... i looks cool & i think the dial design is aesthetically well done. Nothing is mentioned about the movement though... the previo...

I like a lot

Especially the centre seconds any idea of prices. Thanks

Lovely watches.

I like the aesthetics of this watches. Definitely in my taste. I personally prefer central seconds. The second one would be perfect with sub dial on 6 o’clock. Really nice watches with right case sizes.

Yes, why not ....

Lots to like. It would be good to see a wrist shot. I think the price should be considered at Yen 1,800,000 +Tax. Thanks for sharing this.

It’s an interesting piece.

i think this & Kikuchi Nakagawa - both have interesting offers

A triumph in simplicity!

Great size, gorgeous numerals and I actually like the colour of the dial and the case shape. A real winner! Thanks for posting Mahesh.

+1 Sham !

Thanks for posting. M4

I wish he had restrained that subdial

So it didn’t take a bite of 8 and 10. I couldn’t live with it... Cazalea

Great piece. Really like the first one pictured.

Wish it was a bit bigger in the 39mm range. Cheers, John

in deed John, a good time piece...i think the case size is classy but my modern standards it might be considered small.

 By: mahesh : April 4th, 2020-06:49
I think he didn't intend to match the modern trend as the dial is designed to 50s styling imho

I think you're right.

Seeing the more casual nature of the piece, I thought a more casual size would be nicer too. 37 mm is perfect for a dress watch under a well-tailored cuff. And of course, I am thinking of my wrist alone

All right, I can wait. (nt)

Probably a very nice version but I would be happy to see more details including the movement... In the same spirit totally, I remember this iteration that was shown to us here by our friend sham1. I really liked it also... Very classy imho... ...

the Nakagawa is a very interesting one....offers tons and tons of black polished surfaces !

 By: mahesh : April 4th, 2020-22:49
also the new white dial is an intersting one too. Unfortunately, both are closed case backs - what i got as feedback for the Naoya Hida is both of the watches carry a Valjoux 7750 movement stripped to Time only features...sadly no pictures of them :-( Pre...
