Gorilla Fastback GT Mirage

Hi,
Many of you must be familiar with the name Octavio Garcia & his journey with Audemars Piguet as the artistic director until few years ago he chose to leave and venture out on his own and start a brand of his own Gorilla . Though like many of you even I was bit shocked & wondered why would anyone leave a grail job like that and then start a brand called Gorilla! I was shocked and confused and I liked the man when I met him during my factory tour in 2010.
After his launch I did not buy his initial piece but had been in touch with him constantly to understand what he had in mind as I was very curious . And after one year of back and forth talk I really understood where he is coming from and what he wants to achieve and how he wants to give back to the watch industry & to the horological world which gave him lively hood and recognition .
I was convinced and now have embarked on a journey to acquire my first Gorilla watch which is to be launched in the next few days . The Gorilla Fastback GT Mirage inspired by the gulf racing colours . It will be limited to 250 pieces and I have managed to secure myself piece 1/250 which Iam really looking forward to. Price and what is being delivered is great value . Forged carbon fibre, ceramic, rubber , sapphire, cut out dial , raised numerals , sapphire glass back displaying the rotor and movement ..
Looking forward to do my watch review and be candid about my friend’s creation .
