Fortis, as used in Russian space exploration
Called the cosmonauts chronograph, this has been used by the soviet, now the Russian, space program for several decades. In use, it s proven to be a no-nonsense tool watch, rugged, legible and worry free. The one here is from the turn of the century, 38mm steel, Lemania automatic movement., still good to go.
In more recent years, Fortis has introduced a new model, larger sized but with the same design code and robust engineering

Nice watch. These Fortis' can really take a beating as you can see by the wear on mine. They're real workhorses. Mine's a B42 diver chrono, named for the diameter and's pretty hefty, weighing almost half a pound.
