Czapek Antarctique Green Meteor.

You know the Czapek Antarctique. It is regularly posted here.

But did you know about the Antarctique Green Meteor?

Czapek cut a slice of the Gibeon Meteorite, lacquered it in green, then polished it.

The outcome is quite cool, I must say. Even if, in order to match with the dial, I would have used a hue of blue. But the outcome is quite appealing. AND... This version doesn't have a date!

The case is in steel, 40, 5 mm big, 10, 6 mm high, and has the good taste to be water resistant to 120 meters and to have a screw-down crown, which is appropriate for a sports or an adventure watch.

The steel bracelet has a micro adjustment and a quick release system, which will allow you to play with the calf or rubber strap provided with the watch.

The backside is a pleasure for the eyes, as you can admire the superb automatic movement and its micro rotor ( made in platinum ) which beats at the pace of 28, 800 alternances per hour and offers a good autonomy of 60 hours.

The finishing is superb, with its sandblasted bridges and bevellings.

It is a limited edition of 100 pieces, which sadly comes at a certain price: Count a good 30, 000 Euros in France, taxes included.

Best,

Nicolas
